Great staff and ship store. Good fuel prices with pump in the corner by the lift. Only one boat at a time for fuel. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance.

It's a place where you can get in touch with yourself,by yourself.its real peaceful there on the ocean.the owners are very friendly and respectful.ive been fishing their for 30 years and everything there is still the same.its a great pla c e to relax

The Cobb's Family Marina has been my marina of choice when in the Norfolk area for many years. I have kept a vessel in a slip at Cobb's Marina, and stopped over on trips from Boston to Miami. I have always been treated like family, indeed I have even dined on the Covenant, the old Cobb's family yacht. Stop by Cobb's Marina, let them earn your business, and become part of the family as well.

These people over charged me over 2k over and above the quoted prices. Ruined my flooring and carpets after asking three times to cover flooring. Refused to give me my boat until I paid my bill even though I didn't agree with bill. Owner cussed me out over the phone when I questioned there billing practices and over charges. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!! THEY ARE INCOMPETENT CON ARTISTS AND PAY TO HAVE THERE BAD REVIEWS TAKING OFF INTERNET.

The doc master David Benz profiled me, called me a lier, and disrespected me in front of my 8 month pregnant wife. He approached me 2 times, both extremely aggressive. He told me "I knew you would be a problem". I followed EVERY rule and regulation, picked up trash that wasn't mine every day, upon being very respectful. I own a social enterprise that is based on the health of our oceans and waterways. Not only was I profiled and mistreated. They damaged my brand new brown paint on the ENTIRE starboard side when they set it back in the water. They didn't put bumpers on the dock for me after I spent $1,400. They gave me no apology or discounts. Highly not recommended and David Benz is very lucky I'm a changed man. My name is Stephen Wesner.

I very rarely leave reviews, but our experience with Cobb’s was simply top notch! We ran into some issues along a large trip from Boston to Florida and we needed an immediate haul and Cobb’s accommodated is an inspected our props and drive shaft right away before the water finished dripping off the boat. They advised us and put us right in touch with a local prop expert. Initially they didn’t have room in the yard to store us until we could return from Boston in the future to continue our trip, but some employees moved their cars and made a spot for us. We are so lucky we ran into trouble near Norfolk on this journey... thank you! And most of all, they were incredibly nice and understanding of our situation and more than willing to help. A very well run family operation!

My first experience with Cobb’s Marina has been excellent and well above experiences up North. The staff is exceptionally helpful and pleasant, especially David Benz who has gone above and beyond to take care of our boat and communicate well with any changes or needs of the Marina. The yard staff handles your property like their own. While the showers could be a little cleaner, I will be working with this marina for years to come!! I highly recommend it, especially if work is being done on your boat or you want to do some work yourself.Thanks again to the team and David, thanks for going above and beyond.

Hands down the best boat repair place in all of Hampton Roads!!! If you're looking for anything boat related, look no further. David Duval has helped us out more times than I can count, with everything from hauling out to winterizing to emergency engine repairs, they can do it all! They also have a great fuel dock/pump out station on a long finger pier that's easily accessible to all boats no matter how long. 100% recommend to anyone I know who's looking for a boat repair spot! Thanks Cobbs!

when we finally bought our boat, the only Marina we wanted to go to is the same one as our grandfather used back in the late 50s. Still owned by the same family. They are extremely helpful. we are happy to say we keep our boat at Cobbs. and my wife says Dave the dockmaster goes out of his way to help us:-)

Both experiences with Cobb's Marina (2021 and 2015) were awful. The staff was so rude, unhelpful and unprofessional. To be fair it was the same man both times - wish I had his name to share.. Normally dont post reviews but his attitude was so unnecessary that I felt obligated.

It is a straight marina with no service. They are in the process of redoing all the docks Nice restaurant and bar to hang out after you've been out on the water.

We left Florida for Maine in May on our 38’ sailboat. A 100% rack and pinion steering failure occurred off the coast of Norfolk. Cobb’s Marina Maintenance Manager, David, personally took charge. It was during the height of boat launchings. He worked after hours to get a special part machined and personally installed it the Friday evening of Memorial Day week-end. Service was excellent and charges were very, very reasonable.

Kind, very helpful, and sailboat friendly. We came in from a bad storm and they let us stay a couple days to lick our wounds and repair a few things. So appreciate this family owned marina!!!

The folks at Cobb's Marina can best be described as " Fist Class ". Every single interaction with ALL employees starting with Storeroom , Service , TravelLift Yard Operator and hull cleaning crew is positive based. The Cobb's Marina kindness is on full display every time I visit for hull cleaning and pressure washing. I'd highly recommend Cobb's Marina for all boat owners whether local or transient.
